EPW - Dupont, Geneve, 51mm, 18K rose gold original demi-HC with black enamel Roman numerals to front, signed gold cuvette with attributes, white enamel SS dial, fancy gilt Louis XV style hour and minute hands, SW-shift-locking-LS, lever escapement, 16J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#46888 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 63.5 dwt (98.7 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches to plates, small marring immediately around stem detent screw, small indent to outer barrel bridge edge near larger winding wheel, few small bits of oxide to winding wheels and regulator assembly; excellent dial with few small flakes around center hole, few micro-fine surface scratches, few small minor areas of wispy haze around center in glaze surface evident in reflected light, some scattered tiny edge flakes under bezel; excellent hour and minute hands though of different gilt colors, fine seconds-hand with much finish loss and only small bits of gilt remaining; case front lift spring needs assistance to open, case shows very little wear, rippled denting to band between 9 and 10 and some other subtle dents and dings elsewhere, two mild small dings to upper center of rear, very small indent to cuvette center, excellent engraving detail, demi chapter enamel is fully intact with some scratches; tight bow, crown shows light wear; glass inner crystal with circular rub to center, demi-chapter crystal is missing.
